Line of Events
It follows Rupert Campbell-Black and Tony Baddingham as they have a long-standing rivalry that comes to a head. The same filming location was also used to depict Trenwith House in the 2015 BBC TV adaptation of Poldark. I haven’t read the books so I can’t comment on how accurate they are.

Or if they choose the right actor to play RCB. However, I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed this show and really hope they get a second series. But it’s great TV.
And great escapism
I managed to watch the whole thing in 2 days. I wish there were more episodes. It’s nice that they don’t drag it out too much though.
David Tennant is great as always
But I was actually more surprised by how good Danny Dyer was. I’ve seen him in a few things (who hasn’t?) and was a bit skeptical to see him in this but he was brilliant. There are so many characters I love and others I love to hate.
Too many to mention
Highly recommended. Please Disney+ renew this show.
